Ferrari, as you know, is one of the most well known (if not the biggest) names in sports cars out there. They've come a long way, but with the new 2014 laferrari they have stepped up to an entirely different level. This is the best 2014 car ever.
What's Under The Hood
This is a 6LV-12 engine, 950 horsepower monster, but it's a delicate road conquerer due to Ferrari's trademark of having handstitched Italian leather seats. It really is an amazing car, that has finesse and power all in one.
This is a hybrid car, meaning Ferrari has blended speed with energy saving. How does one do that? Nobody knows, except the creators themselves.
What I Love About This Car
I mean besides the fast speeds and the simple fact that there are plenty of areas in Germany where there are no MPH limits. The style. It's so futuristic that it's actually almost scary. The colors offered by Ferrari are amazing because they're bold and bright and that this car can be customized (for a huge price, no doubt) makes me drool even more.
The quality is unspeakable and the company makes sure to offer quality for the price (nearly $4 million dollars). I love that there is so much time to put into these machines.
I love that this car doesn't have a long complicated name with a lot of numbers that make it hard to remember. I find the name,Laferrari, especially alluring. It sounds like a gourmet French cuisine.
The Bad Side
The first thing to admit is that this car is expensive and desireable. These two facts alone make that $4 million dollar price tag hurt so much more. Who is going to be able to afford that in the real world? Sure, if you're a billionaire who own your own business then this isn't going to be a problem and I'm sure most celebrities can afford this without even thinking twice.
Speed limits in the United States can't handle this car. No matter where we go, there are speed signs listed pretty much everywhere and whoever has the money to purchase this car is going to want to go much faster than the average 60 miles per hour.
It's a limited car. This means they're only making so many of them. Money doesn't matter in this case because when they're out, they are gone. The lucky few who can afford this baby are going to (hopefully) cherish it. I can imagine they are doing this because they realize this car in mass production would create a lot of speed demons with money, but I also think it's the price it takes to create a machine so fabulous and the details they put into it that really made them decide to not create so many.
As I wipe my tears away after admitting to myself I'll probably never be able to purchase this vehicle in my lifetime because of the price and its limited edition status, I give kudos to the creators of both the Laferrari and of the company itself.
